Dear BPAO Members,
I am very excited to continue to be President of the Black Physicians’ Association of Ontario! It is both an honour and a privilege to serve you, our members, in this capacity.
We are now in action mode, with advances on numerous fronts:
-Record high Medical School admissions
-Increasing membership
-Strategic plan and implementation plan
-Setting up a framework to provide scholarships
-Through our partnership with the University of Toronto, we have increased our outreach, and this is the model for disseminated around the province at schools with and without a medical school, through the Community of Support.
2019 promises to be a very exciting year for us, and we would be honoured if you joined us!
