Support the BPAO

The  Black Physicians’ Association of Ontario (BPAO) is the premier medical professional organization in Canada dedicated to creating pathways for Black students to pursue careers in medicine. By addressing inequities and providing support, the BPAO has contributed to record highs of Black identifying medical learners entering medical schools not only in Ontario but across Canada. This achievement represents a significant step towards diversity and representation in the medical field, benefiting not just the Black community but society as a whole by fostering inclusivity and promoting healthcare equity.

Your generous support to the BPAO helps us continue our vital work in supporting Black physicians, advocating for equitable healthcare, and improving health outcomes within Black communities. Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact.

Why Donate?

Empower Future Black Physicians

Your donation supports scholarships, mentorship programs, and educational resources for Black medical students and residents. By contributing, you are helping to create pathways for the next generation of Black physicians.

Promote Health Equity

We work tirelessly to address health disparities and promote equity in healthcare. Your support enables us to conduct community health outreach, provide culturally relevant health resources, and advocate for policies that benefit Black communities.

Enhance Community Health

Our community health initiatives, including health fairs, educational workshops, and free health screenings, rely on your donations. These programs are essential in improving healthcare access and outcomes for underserved populations.

Strengthen Advocacy Efforts

BPAO advocates for systemic changes in healthcare that promote anti-colonial practices and accessibility. Your contribution helps us amplify our advocacy efforts and influence healthcare policies to better serve Black communities.
