St. Michael’s Academic Family Health Team is inviting applications from a qualified family physician for a full-time academic clinician teacher to take over an existing practice located at the Wellesley-St. James Town site. The successful candidate must be a family physician with a demonstrated interest in working with marginalized populations in an inner-city context. They must hold a MD degree and certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Interest in working with complex patients and prior clinical experience will be considered assets for the role. The candidate will have a strong interest in teaching learners and practicing in a team-based model. Responsibilities will include providing comprehensive clinical care and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate learners. The successful candidate should be eligible for an academic appointment within the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto.
