St. Joseph’s Health Centre Department of Family & Community Medicine is inviting applications from qualified family physicians for a staff family medicine obstetrics position with the St. Joe’s Toronto Primary Care Obstetrics group (www.stjoesfamilyob.com). The successful candidate must be a family physician with a fellowship in Family Medicine Obstetrics or 3-5+ years of family medicine obstetrical experience. The candidate must have demonstrated an interest in caring for vulnerable populations and hold an MD degree and certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include hard call for family medicine obstetrics (1 in 15), coverage of the Early Pregnancy Management Clinic while on call, some c-section assist coverage and teaching to postgraduate learners. The successful candidate should have an established family practice, or plans to join a practice, in the west-end of Toronto. The individual must be a strong team player and have demonstrated a passion for family medicine obstetrics.
The start dates are July and fall 2022 for the positions, but can be flexible.
