Every year, Canadians all over the country are invited to participate in Black History Month festivities and events that honour the legacy of Black Canadians, past and present.  This time of year is not only a time to rejoice in celebration, it is an opportunity to reflect on the virtues, contributions, collective strength and diversity that African Canadians continue to bring to our staff, our patients, our workplaces, and the fabric and culture of our local communities.

Recognizing Black History Month at Hamilton Health Sciences This year at Hamilton Health Sciences (“HHS”) we are elated and proud to host Black History Month celebrations with our travelling exhibits across the Hospital. We would like to take this time and share with you our Black History Month Poster (attached), which provide in detail, information regarding the travelling exhibits being displayed at various hospital sites throughout Hamilton Health Sciences (“HHS”).  For ease of reference, the travelling exhibits will be shown at the following dates from 9-3pm each day for the following HHS hospital sites:
